Finding work

I am still looking for work. I have a part time job with the Church, but it is not enough to support me. I do enjoy working at the church, I get to do a lot of work outside with landscaping, and maintenance. I do some work in the church. I just painted the Women's Restroom, I stack chairs, arrange chairs, repair toilets, replace burnt out lighting, vaccum carpet, things of that sort.
I think that if I were able to get a part time job on top of the church job, I could keep my head above water.

Still looking to sell my truck, I havent had a ton of people calling about it, but it is a great truck. the prices are just so low out there. I need to sell though.

Also still looking to get some renters into my house. Its a great little 2 bedroom place. Just cant quite afford to be making the full mortgage payment on it. ...

Uganda getting Closer

We are having a Bowl-A-Thon on Monday April 27, 2009 to raise money for Uganda some more. Since we have gotten the container shipped we have all this time to raise money to pay for it all. We still have shipping costs and Individual support money to raise. The Bowl-A-Thon is setup so that sponsors may pledge x number of dollars or cents per pin. We play 2 games and whatever our score ends up being is the number of pins that we knock down. In the past week, I have gotten some donations from various companies to provide prizes for participants who bowl. Each bowler is responsible to get 10 sponsors at a minimum. There will be teams of 4, and we have the capability of supporting 24 teams. We will be bowling at Rosebowl in Portland. Click Here for Directions.

We are also planning an even downtown in the George Morlan Venue to host a dinner and concert event. We are still working out details about this.
