Ukids Booth at Expo Center

If you would like to come to the Expo Center, there will be a Ukids Booth that is selling greeting cards and T-shirts that were made using artwork from the orphans in Seeta, Uganda. This is a great opportunity to support God's work in Uganda. You can get some really cool artwork out of it at the same time. Those children are very talented. Please come and check us out. It will be November 28-30, and December 5-7 at the expo center. I hope that I see you there.

Another Trip to Uganda

From June 26 through July 14, I was in Uganda with Abundant Life Church for the 2nd go around. I was once more privileged to go and bring God some glory by helping those orphans and widows. We installed some "Smokeless" stoves in the kitchen of the building that we constructed last year, installed as many gutters on the Orphan homes that we could, and drained them all to Cisterns that were built prior to our arrival; per our request. We also had a pump house built that would filter the water collected and pump it back into the orphanage to 2 water towers placed within the orphanage. We were able to accomplish this in the 4 weeks that we had Missionaries there.
I did not get to do a safari like I was able to last year, but some others were.

I have posted some pictures on Google's Panoramio website. You can click on the link and go to my page on Panoramio. I just discovered it a little while ago. I recommend that you check it out. Its pretty cool.

If you click on some of the pictures you will see on Google Maps where in the world I was when I took the picture.

Thanks for looking!

The next trip is looking like July 16, 2009 through August 6, 2009. This date is not set in stone, but it is a target date. There will be 1 team this time instead of the 2 that went last year. This makes it a little more difficult to coordinate but I think it is better. I enjoy being with a larger group. I was unable to connect with most everyone from Team 2 last year due to the short overlap time. Hopefully in the future I will be able to spend more time in Uganda.
