On Saturday March 14th, Neal, Chris and I went out for an adventure deep, deep in the woods. okay, well it wasn't that deep. Trillium Lake was looking absolutely beautiful with all the snow up there. We cross country skied for about a quarter mile, then took off a little bit from the main trail and started to build our tower of babel in the snow. Neal was the compactor machine, and Chris was the backhoe... and I was the one warming my hands under the tree.. ha ha, well I was till they caught me. We made a HUGE mound of snow, compressed it all, then started to dig.
When we went to bed we could stand on our knees, but when we woke up we couldn't. the ceiling had sagged that much. Of course we had a HUGE cave, so I guess its understandable.
